Yoga

So much more than a physical practice. As a yoga teacher I incorporate yogic practices that are beyond the asana (physical postures). Weaving meditation, breath work, Kriya and mantra into each class. I aim to create a nurturing space to support personal growth, healing and energetic shifts. With the ultimate goal of deepening one’s connection to the present moment, to self and lighting the path back home. A home that resides in each and everyone of us. The path has just been dimmed and we’ve just lost the directions.

You can find me in the flesh at Oshun Yoga on Thursday’s at 7:30pm and every second Sunday at 9am. ** Classes are currently all online with a slight change in timetable.**

Meditation

The goal of meditation isn’t to control your thoughts, it’s to stop them controlling you. Rarely do we take the time to slow down, to go inwards and be present in the moment.

Through meditation we deeper our awareness and connection to self and a higher state of consciousness. To observe and witness our thoughts and feelings without fear or judgement or letting them direct our lives.

I work with a range of meditation techniques including but not limited to mindfulness, visualisation, progressive relaxation, connection to breath, mantra and guru and metta meditation.
